Origin:

Self-taught digital artist, and freewheeling indie musician. I make the kind of music I can listen to on repeat, without feeling regret. I prefer making albums with a story or general narrative, rather than a bunch of random tracks with nothing buy lazy boasts.

Although, those are pretty neat at times.

Also a retro game enthusiast whose brain runs on nostalgia and a longing for simpler times with lower resolution televisions. Firm believer in the Dreamcast being a success, but the general gaming public not being ready for it at the time

Never kept up with trends because I've never needed them. I don't like the idea of everything being the same, and curated for the masses. That's where boredom and disrespect for creativity is bred.

My reasons for creating art:

I'll always look at the creation process as a sort of puzzle. the meditative feeling I get when I'm in a zone is more of a bonus than anything else. Of course, finishing a peace and being happy about the end result is pretty rad as well.

Overall, I make art because the process is one of the coolest things I've ever experienced. The medium really doesn't matter. You can go outside and use a stick to draw in the dirt if you want. It's the aspect of making something out of nothing that drives me to continue after all these years.

A blank canvas, sheet of paper, etc. Those are no different to me than a box of jigsaw puzzle pieces, the title screen for Tetris, or a pile of LEGO. Seeing open space for my art offers the opportunity for a fun time.

What I want out of life:

Consistancy is very important to me. I feel as is this is sorely lacking with the circumstances I've been saddled with.

Whether it's being dependant too much on tech, family, or the supposed 'wisdom' of others. I'm better off picking my own plot points, and moving forward. It's clear to be now that I've been stuck long enough this is indeed the only way to reach my goals.
